Plans for a new retail development in Ripon, which were approved by Harrogate Borough Council in 2017, have advanced further after CORE received instructions to commence infrastructure work on behalf of developers Marshall CDP .

Initial works include tree removal, excavation, new junction construction and cycle path construction along Rotary way. CORE will also be extending an existing traffic island and installing new signage and road markings.

This initial package of works will be completed by June 2019.

Anchor tenants M&S Foodhall have been officially secured and Pets at Home will also open a store at the out of town retail park located on the A61 Ripon bypass.
