Introduction
This is a major package of works for our client NEXT Holdings Limited.
The works – part of a 200,000 sq ft £50m development plan that includes a new warehouse, lorry yard and car park – comprise the extension of an existing carpark and reconstruction of current access roads together with other ancillary works to allow the enlargement of the existing distribution depot.
Scope of works includes:-
- Tarmac area – 14,500m2
- Kerb drain – 520 meters
- Ducting – 7,500 meters
- EV Chargers – 214 bases
- Drainage – 800 meters
- Attenuation – 220m3
The works commenced in January and will be complete in the summer.
The retailer said the move will help the company “keep up with the speed of online growth”.
